The Journey
Her radical faith and decision to accept Jesus Christ and Lord and Savior officially began on September 24, 2017, where Nykefah got baptized upon being invited back to Church by a childhood friend, and having had a profound encounter with God in the summer of that year, cementing her belief in Him. Before this, Nykefah was actively committed to learning more about God and has been pursuing Him through personal Bible study and prayer long before her baptism.
After her baptism, she now began to faithfully attend Church with her friend again. In January of 2018, she began sharing her faith, the Gospel, and Word of God through her social media platforms. Additionally, by then she had already started her online women's platform, known today as the Krowned Queens Academy, as a space to help other women and girls be restored unto God like she was. Outside of social media, she would actively participate in church programs, local high school evangelism outreach, preaching sermonettes, and sharing her story with just about anyone she would come across.
In summer 2018, while visiting in the States, she was led by God to the Emmanuel Sanctuary Church where she met, clung to, gleaned, and began to be discipled by their oversight, Apostle Angela R. Apostle Angela had taken Nykefah under her wings, teaching her God's Word, teaching her how to faithfully serve God's house and people, and ignited a flame in her for evangelism and soul-winning as she modeled these things daily. Nykefah eventually began to preach and teach the Word, embrace her calling and gifting of the prophetic, help with evangelism, and sometimes Bible Study as Apostle Angela would prayerfully instruct her to. Ever since then, once Nykefah visited the States at any time of year, besides serving in the local Church in Jamaica, she would faithfully commit her service to the Lord at the Emmanuel Sanctuary Church, where she deems as "home" and where ministry began for her. Though today, in 2025, the small church in New York has been closed, she remains in loving contact with Apostle Angela who continues to love on her and speak God's Word over her as a maternal voice and leadership figure.
Ever since these formative years, Nykefah has been committed to preaching the Gospel, serving at various Christian conferences, hosting events and teaching programs for women and girls, determined to let her light shine so that people may glorify her Father who is in Heaven. She also went on to evangelizing locally on a bus in 2019, which was shared online and went viral, garnering views worldwide and she is now no stranger to bus evangelism.
Her story really began the year she was born in 1999 when her great grandfather, a respected Prophet and Deacon at the Rock Rose New Testament Church of God in Orange Hill Clarendon, held her in his arms and by the Spirit of God declared her calling aloud and consecrated her unto God for His glory. Ever since then, she has been marked, called, set apart, and divinely led right back to God to fulfill her destiny. She lives by her calling like her great grand father, according to Jeremiah 1:5, and is committed to being God's mouthpiece until the very end.
Today, her women's platform, the Krowned Queens Academy Limited is a legally registered non-profit organization in Jamaica providing online Christian teaching programs, Christian events, charitable endeavors, and other acts to help in edifying the daughters in Christ for life and service. The reach of the KQA has expanded to over 6 countries and has so far served hundreds of women locally and globally, including the virtual world.
